Today I launched Guild of Dungeoneering and Steam automatically updated the game to the ultimate edition. I used this often as a work around to grind out gold in an effort to upgrade my guild while still in the early levels as I knew I'd be unable backtrack once I finished. I've never enjoyed the fact that in the original game one cannot replay levels, but I've always been able to forgive this, because of the player's ability to grind out a level for gold as long as the player doesn't actually finish the mission. Hi, I am a long time of the original guild of Dungeoneering and it has always been one of those games which I make sure is left installed in my steam library, because it, more than any other game that I own is always the one I come back to when I wanted to mindlessly kill some time. We're working on consoles already and hope to have that ready soon enough. Will Ultimate Edition come to platform X? The two expansions we made for Guild Classic have been incorporated into Ultimate Edition, so they are no longer available for sale. Choose 'Guild Classic' from the launch options (2nd choice). On Steam, right click on the game, go to properties, then betas, then choose 'classic' from the dropdown. We don't plan on updating Classic from now on. Feel free to switch to the old one if you are finishing a playthrough or just want to play classic for any reason. We call it Guild Classic and it's available in a beta branch called 'classic'. What if I still want to play the older version of the game? You can even gift a copy of Guild Ultimate to someone! You can check out our other game Cardpocalypse. There's lots of ways!
